Venabu Fjellhotell arranges yoga courses throughout the year, you can participate on one of our Venabu Yoga Weekends, or just join one of our morning or afternoon classes. We focus on exercises which helps you to restore an inner balance and peace. Learn how to use the nature around us to accomplish a calm state of mind and healthy body.
Yoga is a wonderful tool that will help you find a deeper connection with your self. Yoga is used both for relaxation, and to increase mobility and strength, and it is an exercise that is suitable for everyone.
You can come to Venabu and try yoga for the first time along with other beginners, or let yourself be guided in how to deepen your practice if you are a more experienced student.
We have experienced instructors that will help you find a practise suitable for your personal level of experience.

Our yoga instructor Anna Hallin, comes from Dalarna, in Sweden. She has practiced and explored yoga and its philosophy for many years. On her travels around the world she has studied with many different teachers and masters from Asia, USA, South America and Sweden.
In her classes you learn several tools and techniques that can bring you closer to your self and give you an experience of inner peace, physical strength and greater joy. She will guide you to a greater understanding of life and how to face challenges and fears with understanding and an open heart.

A peaceful retreat for those who want to try yoga in combination with hiking, delicious food and stunning nature. Inspiring and expansive on all levels of being.
Arrival in the evening for a nice healthy meal. After dinner there will be an introduction, as well as orientation of the program.
We start the day with morning yoga before breakfast.
We prepare our lunch pack at the breakfast table, before we get ready for a hike into the mountains with a guide. We will bring the tools of yoga into the mountains. Explore how you can become more aware and in tuned to the power of the mountains and nature. The guide will show you various exercises to help you deepen your awareness and connection to yourself and to nature.
Experience how nature effect you both physically and mentally.
Afternoon session of yoga with focus on deepening your practice, meditation and a short sharing to help integrate the insights of the day.
Sauna for those who want.
In the evening we enjoy a healthy dinner together.
We end the weekend with a longer yoga session before a late breakfast.
Those who like will have the option of a hike before returning home.
Price: NOK 5.900, - per person in double rooms with shower / wc. Supplement for single room NOK 85, -/day.
The rate includes accommodation, all meals, yoga lessons, guided tours in the mountain, lectures, some easy recipes on vegetarian food and a yoga program to take home.
