Yoga classes make a wonderful addition to your holiday at Venabu. Whether you are with us for an active holiday or simply to enjoy the mountain air, a yoga class could be the perfect complement to your stay. 

Yoga’s combination of movement and breathing helps us to re-balance and “re-set”. Yoga can help recovery after exercise and to promote a sense of wellbeing. Our classes offer you a pause with the opportunity to take care of your body and mind.

Mindfulness & Yoga 
Duration: 75 minutes
A harmonious combination of mindful breathing, gentle movement and restorative yoga.

Mindfulness & Qi gong 
Duration: 75 minutes
A session to restore contact between body and mind through presence, breathwork and flowing Qi gong movements.

Additional sessions, on request
90-minute classes (Mindfulness, Yoga or Qigong):
Price: NOK 450,- per person, minimum 3 participants
Individual sessions:
Price: NOK 1200,- (Mindfulness, Qigong or Yoga)

About Josef Beran
Josef Beran is a certified teacher in Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR), he trained at IMA Berlin, Europe’s oldest mindfulness institute. He also holds the Norwegian NOCNA certification as a mindfulness teacher. His teaching combines traditional wisdom with modern science, and includes techniques from Qi-Gong, Yoga, Taiji and therapeutic bodywork.
With over 16 years of experience as a massage therapist and deep immersion in the Shaolin Self-Mastery program, Josef offers a holistic and body-based approach. He is certified in Craniosacral Qi-Gong, Five Element Qi-Gong and Stem Cell Qi-Gong, and teaches Mindfulness-Based Yoga, Hatha Yoga and Shaolin Power Yoga.
He brings a compassionate and down-to-earth presence that supports emotional strength, mental clarity and physical well-being through mindfulness, yoga and Qigong.

Winter yoga classes
Different styles of yoga

In high season, our yoga programme includes classes in different styles of yoga, often to suit the time of day. Start your day with an energising morning flow yoga class, improve circulation and flexibility with Yin yoga or relax before bed with an evening class. 

The classes vary in intensity, and the instructors always adapt the class to suit the participants.
